I don’t have any art in my house. I do have a vase from Roger Herman, a memory jug, a set of Jindrich Halabala reading chairs and an old picture of the Concorde in my reading room.

What books would you read/are you reading in your drawing room?

Bottom Dogs by Edward Dahlberg, WSJ (I stopped reading The Times), A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole, How to Disappear in America, Sam McKinniss’ Twitter account (@wkndpartyupdate), anything from Fitzcarraldo Editions, The Peregrine by J. A. Baker, Henry Miller’s The Colossus of Maroussi because I’m going to Greece in August, and John Berger’s G.

What movies would you watch/are you watching in your drawing room?

Scarecrow, Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, Wake in Fright, Silicon Valley. I just saw The War of the Roses last night, pretty funny. eXistenZ, Prometheus, Blade Runner, Total Recall, Repo Man, Strange Days, or pretty much any wacky sci-fi or film by Ridley Scott or Katharine Bigelow.
